The best-known name for trucks and vans throughout the East Midlands, Sherwood recently established a Fiat van dealership at their Nottingham depot and are keen to stress the level of customer support they can offer – such as
24-hour service.
“Most car dealers are open 8am to 5.30pm, and are often closed at weekends,” says sales executive Jordan Hill.
“At Sherwood, you can drop your vehicle off on a Tuesday night and it’ll be serviced and back on the road ready to be picked up on Wednesday morning.”
And it’s not just the speed of service that’s an advantage, as Sherwood’s operations manager Brian Robinson explains:
“If customers buy a commercial vehicle from a car dealer, they don’t get the back-up and parts availability,” says Brian.
“With us you can also get all the livery done when you buy the vehicle. It’s a one-stop shop; no other Fiat dealer in the region would have that facility.”
Designed for maximum cost-effectiveness, particularly with regard to payload, the four Fiat van models sold from Sherwood’s Nottingham site – the Punto, Doblo, Scudo and Ducato – are of particular interest to small companies and
‘one-man bands’ such as builders, labourers, painters and decorators. They also add to Sherwood’s growing reputation as a well-established dealership, with their line-up of vehicles now ranging from the very small – such as the Punto – to the
very large... up to 40-tonne tractor units.
